Course Location: Kiser Medical Training Institute (KMTI) 1890 Park Marina Dr. Redding, Ca 96001 Clinical Experience: Mercy Medical Center Life Support Units (LSU) Shasta Regional Medical Center Emergency Department Course Schedule: Lectures: 6pm - 8pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs Skills: 8pm - 10pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs Field Experience: Students are required to have 24 hours of clinical experience during the program, and attain a minimum of 10 patient contacts. (This will scheduled after the course begins) Saturdays: There are four required "Simulation Saturdays" throughout the course. These are from 9am-5pm Total Course Duration: 8 weeks (154 hours of lecture/skills, 24 hours of clinical time) Service Description Are you ready to begin a rewarding career saving lives? Led by experienced instructors who are active EMTs and paramedics, you’ll gain the confidence, knowledge, and hands-on practice to handle emergencies with professionalism and care. Kiser CPR EMT-Basic Program covers all fundamental emergency medical topics, including: Patient assessment and vital signs Airway management and oxygen administration CPR and AED use following AHA guidelines Bleeding control and shock management Medical and trauma emergencies Emergency childbirth and pediatric care Splinting, bandaging, and spinal precautions EMS operations and communication protocols Course Cost Total Cost of Course: $2,499 - $500 deposit required at time of registration - Financing available (with Kiser CPR Payment Plan) for remainder of balance. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Students may cancel a booking 72 hours (or more) prior to the course date and time and receive a full refund. If student cancels registration less than 72 hours but before 24 hours in advance of the course date and time, a partial refund may be rewarded (up to 50% of booking fees). If student attempts to cancel class within 24 hours of course date and time, no refund will be issued, but student will have the option to reschedule course one time per the reschedule policy. Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule a course, you may do so at no cost if reschedule is requested 48 hours or more prior to the course. You may only reschedule one time, and rescheduled appointments are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. If reschedule is requested within 48 hours of the course, a $25 reschedule fee will be applied prior to attendance in the course. If student "no-call, no-show's" to a course and requests to reschedule after their missed course, the student will be required to pay the full catalog price of their desired course prior to registration.
